In the implementation of the joint intranet for the Bregenzer Festspiele and the Festspielhaus Bregenz, as many content modules as possible from the corporate website of the Festspielhaus were to be reused, which were individualized with a new corporate design.

Due to extensive usage and feedback from employees, the intranet platform was soon expanded after the launch to include an internal bulletin board with real-time communication. This enables greater participation from all employees. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, remote work became necessary, requiring secure access outside of the internal network, which allows restricted access to approved content.

Company-Intranet Bulletin Board with Real-Time Communication
After a successful launch, it became clear that the platform should serve as the central internal communication medium for both companies and that employees needed more opportunities for active participation. Since most people used the intranet as their homepage and kept it open in a tab throughout the day, normal post publishing would often go unnoticed until the following day. Therefore, an internal bulletin board with real-time communication and push notifications for new posts was implemented.

Cross-Channel Publishing
Automatic integration of posts from the public website of the Festspielhaus.

Easy Login - in the Office and Remotely
Automatic user recognition when accessing through the internal network, with login for remote access having restricted rights.

Success / Customer Benefits

The intranet serves as the digital interface between both companies and is the primary communication channel for all relevant matters. The bulletin board is gaining popularity and enables direct communication among all employees without going through the communications department. Push notifications keep everyone informed, and access is securely available even from home office.
